Scope and purpose

This policy applies to AimLens Camera Translate / 对准译, a local-first iPhone and iPad utility for reading menus, signs, and medicine labels. AimLens uses camera or imported images to recognize text, translate it when an Apple language pack is available, and keep the original visible for checking.

Information stored on the device

AimLens may store captures, source image references, OCR text, confidence values, translations, scene mode, price and exchange-rate notes, saved phrasebook entries, local history, app settings, and whether a translation used an optional network route. These records support the app's capture, comparison, history, phrasebook, and recovery flows. They are stored in the app's local container unless you choose an external route described below.

Camera, Photos, and Share Extension

The camera is used for live OCR and capture. Photos access is used only when you choose an image from the library. The Share Extension accepts an image handoff and places it in the shared app-group area long enough for AimLens to continue the same local processing flow. AimLens does not read other photos, contacts, microphone input, location, or content from unrelated apps.

Apple processing

Vision and Apple Translation are Apple platform services used by the current build for OCR and translation. Language-pack availability depends on the device, system version, language pair, and Apple settings. If a local translation fails, AimLens keeps the source text and shows the degraded state.

Optional user-configured network fallback

Only after local translation fails, and only when you explicitly enable and configure a gateway in the app, AimLens may send OCR text, source language, and target language to the endpoint you provide. This fallback does not send the original image. The endpoint is not operated by Qiquverse; its operator controls its own retention and privacy practices. The app marks when a result used this route. If you do not configure and enable it, no translation text is sent through this path.

Local records, deletion, and backups

You can delete individual history or phrasebook records and use the app's clear-data actions where provided. Associated local JSON, image references, crops, and cached files are removed by the app's deletion flow. Removing the app normally removes its local container. Standard Apple device backups may include app-local data according to your settings and Apple's platform behavior. A damaged, reset, or unbacked-up device may prevent recovery.

Medicine-label boundary

Medicine mode is for reading and cross-checking text only. AimLens does not diagnose, judge medication safety, recommend a dose, or replace a doctor or pharmacist. Verify important information against the package and a qualified professional.

Collection, advertising, and tracking

The current release has no account system, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, cross-app tracking, or Qiquverse cloud history. Qiquverse does not receive the local records described above through the default app flow.

Security and changes

Local processing reduces unnecessary transmission, but no device or storage method can guarantee absolute security or recovery. We may update this policy when the app, Apple services, data handling, or legal requirements change. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].

保存在设备上的信息

对准译可能保存拍摄记录、来源图片引用、OCR 文字、置信度、译文、场景模式、价格和汇率备注、收词本条目、本地历史、应用设置，以及某次翻译是否使用了可选网络路径。这些信息用于取景、冻结对照、历史、收词本和恢复流程。除非你主动选择下述外部路径，否则它们保存在 App 的本地容器中。

相机、照片与分享扩展

相机用于实时 OCR 和拍摄。照片权限只在你选择相册图片时使用。分享扩展接受一张图片的交接，并将它短暂放入共享 App Group 区域，让对准译继续同一条本地处理流程。对准译不会读取其他照片、通讯录、麦克风、定位信息，也不会读取无关 App 的内容。

Apple 处理

当前版本使用 Vision 和 Apple Translation 进行 OCR 与翻译。语言包可用性取决于设备、系统版本、语言对和 Apple 设置。本地翻译失败时，对准译会保留原文并显示降级状态。

可选的用户配置网络回落

只有在本地翻译失败，并且你主动在 App 中开启和配置网关时，对准译才可能把 OCR 文字、源语言和目标语言发送到你提供的地址。此回落不会发送原图。该地址不是 Qiquverse 运营的服务，其运营者自行负责保留和隐私实践。App 会标明结果使用过这条路径。如果你没有配置并开启它，翻译文字不会通过这条路径发送。

本地记录、删除与备份

你可以删除单条历史或收词本记录，并使用 App 提供的清除数据入口。关联的本地 JSON、图片引用、裁片和缓存会由删除流程移除。删除 App 通常会移除其本地容器。标准 Apple 设备备份可能按照你的设置和 Apple 平台行为包含 App 本地数据。设备损坏、重置或没有备份时，数据可能无法恢复。

药盒信息边界

药盒模式只用于阅读和核对文字。对准译不做诊断、不判断用药安全、不推荐剂量，也不能替代医生或药师。重要信息请和包装及专业人士意见核对。

收集、广告与跟踪

当前版本没有账户系统、广告 SDK、分析 SDK、跨 App 跟踪或 Qiquverse 云端历史。默认 App 流程不会把上述本地记录发送给 Qiquverse。

安全与变更

本地处理可以减少不必要的传输，但任何设备或存储方式都不能保证绝对安全或一定恢复。当 App、Apple 服务、数据处理方式或法律要求发生变化时，我们可能更新本政策。如有隐私问题，请联系 [email protected]。
