ReadMirror Privacy Policy

Scope

This policy applies to ReadMirror (朗读镜), a local-first reading self-comparison app for children and families. The child photographs a short passage from a real book, worksheet, or screen; reviews and corrects the recognized text; records two takes; compares them side by side; and keeps the chosen session in a local timeline.

Data and local storage

The current version stores session metadata, the corrected passage text, the confirmed cropped passage image, up to two voice recordings per session, waveform caches derived from those recordings, and deletion/undo staging records. All of it is stored on the device with Apple's local data framework and the app's Application Support folder, using relative paths, and it never leaves the device.

No data collection

ReadMirror has no account system, no advertising, no analytics, no tracking SDK, no cloud sync, and no server processing in this release. Qiquverse does not receive recordings, passage text, passage photos, waveforms, or session data. The current version makes no network requests; text recognition runs entirely on the device with Apple's Vision framework (Simplified Chinese).

Permissions

Camera access is requested only after the user taps "take a photo" and reads the on-screen purpose explanation. Photo selection uses the system PhotosPicker and only for the photo the user chooses; the app does not request full photo-library access. Microphone access is requested only when the user starts recording, and recording happens only while the user actively records a take. The current version requests no location, contacts, notifications, or biometrics.

Children and families

ReadMirror is designed for primary-school children to use with optional parent help. The parent area is protected by a simple math question that runs entirely on the device; it is friction against accidental entry, not an age-verification or parental-consent service. If the app is later offered in the App Store Kids Category, this policy and the App Store metadata will be reviewed again before submission.

Retention and deletion

Data remains on the device until it is deleted. A discarded take is deleted immediately. Deleting a session from the timeline deletes its recordings, waveform caches, confirmed cropped image, and metadata together. Deleting the app normally removes its local container. Back up the device with iOS to avoid data loss.

Security and changes

Local-only storage limits exposure, but no system can guarantee absolute security; keep the device passcode enabled. This policy will be updated before adding accounts, cloud sync, analytics, ads, subscriptions, remote AI, or server processing.

适用范围

本政策适用于朗读镜（ReadMirror），一款面向儿童和家庭的本地优先朗读自我对比工具。孩子拍摄正在读的一小段课文（书本、练习页或屏幕），核对并校正识别出的文字，录两遍，对比回听，再把选中的一次对比保存在本地时间线。

数据与本地存储

当前版本在设备本地保存会话记录、校正后的课文文字、确认后的课文裁剪图、每次会话最多两段录音、由录音生成的波形缓存，以及删除/撤销时的暂存记录。这些数据使用 Apple 本地数据框架和应用 Application Support 目录保存，采用相对路径，不会离开设备。

不收集数据

本版本没有账户、广告、统计、追踪 SDK、云同步或服务器处理。Qiquverse 不会收到录音、课文文字、课文照片、波形或会话数据。当前版本不发起任何网络请求；文字识别使用 Apple Vision 框架（简体中文）在设备本地完成。

权限

只有用户点击「拍摄」并阅读屏幕上说明用途的文字后，App 才会请求相机权限。选择照片使用系统 PhotosPicker，只读取用户选择的那一张，App 不请求完整照片库权限。只有用户开始录音时才请求麦克风权限，且只在用户主动录音时才会录音。当前版本不请求定位、通讯录、通知或生物识别权限。

儿童与家庭

朗读镜面向小学阶段孩子使用，家长可选择陪同。家长区通过一道在设备本地运行的简单算术题进入，仅用于防止误触，不是年龄验证或监护人同意服务。如果未来在 App Store Kids Category 提供本 App，我们会在提交前重新审查本政策与商店元数据。

保留与删除

数据保存在设备上，直到被删除。放弃的一遍会立即删除。从时间线删除一次对比时，会同步删除对应录音、波形缓存、确认裁剪图和记录。删除 App 通常会移除其本地容器。请使用 iOS 备份设备，避免数据丢失。

安全与变更

本地存储可以降低暴露风险，但任何系统都无法保证绝对安全，请保持设备密码开启。若未来加入账户、云同步、统计、广告、订阅、远程 AI 或服务器处理，我们会在发布前更新本政策。
