ReadMirror Terms of Use

Acceptance and purpose

By using ReadMirror, you accept these terms. ReadMirror is a reading self-comparison tool: the child records two takes of a short passage and decides which one they prefer. The current version is free, offline, and has no accounts, ads, purchases, scoring, diagnosis, or rankings.

Who may use it

Children may record their own reading with a parent or guardian nearby. A parent or guardian should complete the parent area, including reviewing text and deleting local data. The parent-area math question prevents accidental entry but is not a substitute for a guardian's supervision or consent.

User responsibility

Record only your own voice in a safe environment, and do not record other people without their permission. Parents or guardians should check the recognized text against the real passage; the app may misread handwriting, layout, or low-contrast text. Do not use ReadMirror to store unlawful content.

Product-specific limits

ReadMirror does not evaluate, score, diagnose, or compare children against each other. Its A/B choice is the child's own preference. Audio quality depends on the device, microphone, environment, and audio route. Local data may be lost if the device or app is deleted, damaged, reset, or not backed up.

Apple platform dependencies

ReadMirror depends on iOS/iPadOS and Apple services for local storage, camera, PhotosPicker, microphone, and accessibility features. Features may be unavailable or behave differently across devices, system versions, and accessibility settings, and the user may deny permissions in system settings.

Availability and updates

Features may be corrected, changed, suspended, or discontinued. We may update these terms when the product or applicable requirements change.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, ReadMirror is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted availability, recognition accuracy, or data recovery. Qiquverse is not liable for indirect loss arising from reliance on recognized text, denied permissions, third-party services, or unprotected local data.

接受与用途

使用朗读镜即表示接受本协议。朗读镜是一款朗读自我对比工具：孩子把一小段课文录两遍，然后自己决定更满意哪一遍。当前版本免费、离线，没有账户、广告、购买、评分、诊断或排名。

使用对象

孩子可以在家长或监护人陪同在场时录制自己的朗读。家长或监护人应完成家长区操作，包括核对文字和删除本地数据。家长区的算术题用于防止误触，不能替代监护人的监督或同意。

用户责任

请在安全的环境中只录制自己的声音，未经同意不要录制他人。家长或监护人应把识别出的文字与真实课文核对，App 可能误读手写、排版或低对比文字。不得利用朗读镜保存违法内容。

产品限制

朗读镜不评价、不评分、不诊断，也不把儿童互相比较。A/B 选择是孩子自己的偏好。音频质量取决于设备、麦克风、环境和音频路线。设备或 App 被删除、损坏、重置或未备份时，本地数据可能丢失。

Apple 平台依赖

朗读镜依赖 iOS/iPadOS 和 Apple 服务提供本地存储、相机、PhotosPicker、麦克风与无障碍功能。不同设备、系统版本和无障碍设置下，功能可能不可用或表现不同，用户也可以在系统设置中拒绝权限。

可用性与更新

我们可能修复、调整、暂停或停止功能，并在产品或适用要求变化时更新本协议。

免责声明与责任限制

在法律允许范围内，朗读镜不保证持续可用、识别准确或一定恢复数据。因依赖识别文字、权限被拒、第三方服务或未妥善保护本地数据造成的间接损失，Qiquverse 不承担责任。
