VoiceNotes Privacy Policy

Scope

This policy applies to VoiceNotes, a local-first iPhone app for recording meetings, lectures, and personal ideas, creating transcripts and summaries, and searching the resulting notes. It describes the current release only and is intended to be read together with the app's permission prompts.

Information stored on your device

VoiceNotes stores your chosen session title, audio recordings, transcripts, summaries, action items, timestamps, status information, and app preferences in the app's local iPhone storage. This information is not transmitted to Qiquverse. The current release has no account system, no server-side processing, no cloud backup, no advertising SDK, no third-party analytics, no tracking, and no in-app purchases.

Microphone and speech recognition

The microphone is requested only after you explain or begin a recording flow. If you deny microphone access, recording is unavailable, but the app remains usable. VoiceNotes requests speech recognition authorization only when a recording is processed. The current release uses Apple's on-device speech recognition framework and requests on-device recognition. Audio and transcripts are not sent to Qiquverse servers. Apple's behavior for platform frameworks is governed by Apple's privacy disclosures and the settings on your device.

Consent and sensitive content

A consent reminder appears before or during recording sessions. You are responsible for obtaining permission from other participants where required and for complying with local law. Do not use the app to secretly record private conversations or otherwise unlawful material. If a recording contains sensitive information, keep your device protected and consider deleting the session after use.

Retention, deletion, and export

Recordings and derived notes remain until you delete them, remove the app, or use device storage controls. Deleting a session removes its audio, transcript, and summary through the app's local lifecycle. If you export text or PDF, or share a recording, the resulting copy is managed by the destination you choose and by any device backup services you enable. VoiceNotes does not create a cloud copy.

Apple services and third parties

The app uses Apple frameworks for recording, on-device speech recognition, local storage, sharing, PDF output, accessibility, and localization. Qiquverse does not receive your recordings or notes through these features. The current release does not use iCloud, CloudKit, push notifications, contacts, location, camera, biometrics, or social features.

Children and privacy

VoiceNotes is a general productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. Parents and guardians should supervise children's use of recording tools and applicable local-law obligations.

Security and limitations

Local storage reduces network exposure but does not guarantee protection from loss, theft, device compromise, operating-system issues, storage failure, or unauthorized access after a device is unlocked. Use a device passcode and keep iOS updated.

Changes

We will update this policy before changing data handling, permissions, account requirements, cloud behavior, analytics, advertising, or purchase behavior. Changes will be published at this URL and dated above.

同意与敏感内容

App 会在录音前或录音过程中显示同意提醒。你负责在需要时征得其他参与者同意，并遵守当地法律。请勿用本 App 秘密录制私人谈话或保存违法内容。如果录音包含敏感信息，请保护设备安全，并考虑在确认后删除。

保留、删除与导出

录音和衍生笔记会保留到你删除、移除 App 或使用设备存储管理。删除会话会按 App 本地生命周期移除音频、转写和摘要。如果你导出文本或 PDF，或分享录音，由此产生的副本由你选择的目标和你启用的设备备份服务管理。VoiceNotes 不会创建云端副本。

Apple 服务与第三方

App 使用 Apple 框架提供录音、设备内语音识别、本地存储、分享、PDF 输出、无障碍和本地化能力。Qiquverse 不会通过这些能力收到你的录音或笔记。当前版本不使用 iCloud、CloudKit、推送通知、通讯录、定位、相机、生物识别或社交功能。

儿童与隐私

VoiceNotes 是通用生产力工具，不面向 13 岁以下儿童。家长或监护人应监督儿童使用录音工具，并注意当地法律要求。

安全与限制

本地存储可以减少网络暴露，但不能防止丢失、被盗、设备被入侵、系统问题、存储故障或解锁后的未经授权访问。请使用设备密码并保持 iOS 更新。

变更

如果改变数据处理、权限、账号要求、云端行为、分析、广告或购买行为，我们会先更新本政策，并在本页面公布新的更新日期。
