Know the boundary before you use it
Can it confirm a wire inside a wall?
No. It shows relative magnetic-field change only. Avoid known magnetic objects and verify a change from another direction.
Can it confirm a camera?
No. The room flow is an auxiliary magnetic-change screen, not camera detection and not proof that a room is safe.
Does data leave the phone?
The current version reads, processes, and stores summaries locally. It needs no account, cloud sync, ads, analytics SDK, or subscription.
Can I use the Simulator?
When a Simulator has no magnetometer, enable demo mode. Synthetic readings are clearly labeled and do not represent the real environment.
