PatLock Privacy Policy

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to PatLock. PatLock helps families manage screen time, app restrictions, remote lock and unlock actions, geofence reminders, usage summaries, and household device rules. We process only the information needed to provide these features.

Information processed

PatLock may process family rules, app restriction settings, device connection status, remote commands, invitation relationships, family member roles, usage report summaries, geofence rules, notification preferences, and secure verification status. This information keeps parent and child devices aligned.

Local data

Some settings, cached status, interface preferences, draft rules, and security preferences are stored locally on the user's device. When the app is deleted, local data is generally removed by the operating system. If iCloud sync is enabled, cloud data may also need to be managed through Apple services or app controls.

iCloud / CloudKit

PatLock uses Apple iCloud / CloudKit for remote control and sync. Rules, device status, and remote commands may be synchronized in the user's Apple service environment. We do not receive the user's Apple ID password or payment credentials.

Permissions

PatLock may request Family Controls / Screen Time access for selecting and restricting apps, notifications for rule reminders, Face ID or passcode verification for parent actions, and location or geofence access for arrival or departure reminders. Users can manage these permissions in iOS Settings.

What PatLock does not do

PatLock does not provide chat monitoring, photo scanning, browser-content reading, or keylogging. Unless a system permission and user action specifically require it, PatLock does not access the camera, microphone, contacts, or photo library.

Children and family data

PatLock is designed for parent-managed family use. Parents should use the app only within lawful guardianship, obtain any required consent, and explain household rules in an age-appropriate way.

Purchases

If PatLock offers in-app purchases or subscriptions, Apple App Store handles payment, renewal, cancellation, and refunds. We do not collect card numbers, full billing addresses, or payment authentication information.

Third-party services and ads

Core remote-control features do not rely on third-party advertising tracking servers. If future releases add analytics, crash reporting, support systems, or other third-party services, we will update this page and relevant in-app notices.

Retention, deletion, and security

PatLock keeps information for as long as needed to provide the features. Users can delete rules, disable sync, leave a family relationship, delete the app, or contact us for help. We use reasonable safeguards, but no device or network environment can be guaranteed absolutely secure.

Changes

When PatLock's features, permissions, data processing, or App Store status changes materially, we will update this page and its date.

我们处理的信息

本地数据

部分设置、缓存状态、界面偏好、规则草稿和安全验证偏好会保存在用户设备本地。用户删除 App 后，本地保存的数据通常会随系统机制一并删除；如果使用 iCloud 同步，云端数据需要在 Apple 账户、iCloud 或 App 内相关入口中继续处理。

iCloud / CloudKit

PatLock 的远程控制和同步功能依赖 Apple iCloud / CloudKit。规则、设备状态和远程指令会在用户的 Apple 服务环境中同步。我们无法读取用户的 Apple ID 密码或支付资料，iCloud 的账户、安全和服务器处理由 Apple 提供。

系统权限

PatLock 可能请求 Family Controls / Screen Time 权限以选择和限制应用，请求通知权限以发送规则提醒，请求 Face ID 或设备密码验证以保护家长操作，请求位置或地理围栏权限以实现到达或离开提醒。用户可以在 iOS 系统设置中管理这些权限；关闭权限后，相关功能可能无法正常工作。

不会处理的内容

PatLock 不提供聊天监听、照片扫描、浏览器内容读取或键盘记录功能。除非系统权限和用户操作明确需要，PatLock 不会访问相机、麦克风、通讯录或照片库。

儿童与家庭数据

PatLock 的设计场景包含家长为孩子设备设置规则。家长应在合法监护范围内使用本 App，并根据孩子年龄、当地法律和家庭沟通情况取得必要同意。我们建议家长向孩子解释规则目的，避免把工具用于不合理监控。

购买与支付

如果 PatLock 在 App Store 中提供内购或订阅，购买、续费、取消和退款由 Apple App Store 处理。我们不会收集银行卡号、完整账单地址或支付认证信息。

第三方服务和广告

PatLock 的核心远程控制不依赖第三方广告追踪服务器。若未来版本加入分析、崩溃诊断、客服系统或其他第三方服务，我们会在本页面和必要的 App 内说明中更新相关信息。

保留、删除与安全

PatLock 会在提供功能所需期间保留相关数据。用户可以通过删除规则、关闭同步、退出家庭关系、删除 App 或联系我们请求协助来处理相关数据。我们会采取合理的技术和管理措施保护数据，但任何网络或设备环境都无法保证绝对安全。

政策更新

当 PatLock 的功能、权限、数据处理方式或 App Store 状态发生重要变化时，我们会更新本页面的日期和内容。继续使用 App 表示用户了解更新后的政策。
