Core Experience

Ten real-world minutes for one clear entertainment boundary

The goal is not surveillance, shame, or endless task grinding. It is a family rule that remains understandable, pausable, and reversible.

Choose Together

A parent and child choose a set of entertainment apps together, making the rule transparent from the start.

Activity Timer

A focused timer supports pauses, daily limits, day changes, and other local rule states.

One-Time Pass

Completing an activity grants one limited unlock, with clear redemption, expiration, and early-end states.

Parent Control

Parents can pause rules, allow emergency access, and run recovery checks.

Safety Allowlist

Phone, family messaging, maps, school, and health-and-safety paths should remain available.

Local and Free

No account, ads, tracking, third-party analytics, subscriptions, or in-app purchases are planned.

Who It Is For

Cooperation instead of conflict; boundaries instead of punishment

MoveMinutes is for families that want a calm, predictable rhythm between real-world activity and entertainment time.

Rules feel sudden to the child

Agree on the activity, duration, entertainment scope, and end condition before starting.

Parents do not want detailed history

The app does not show detailed browsing history or upload app-token identities. It keeps only local rules and anonymous state needed for the experience.

The family needs emergency access

Parent pause, emergency access, and safety paths always take priority over everyday limits.

Rules should work offline

The minute ledger and policy calculation are designed for offline and app-not-running conditions; system enforcement still depends on Apple capabilities and authorization.

Capability Boundary

No exaggerated Screen Time promises

MoveMinutes is preparing for release. Automatic app selection, shielding, and restoration depend on Apple Family Controls authorization, the Family Controls Distribution entitlement, system state, and family device settings. If the production entitlement is unavailable, the app provides only a clearly labeled local demo. It does not present that demo as real enforcement and cannot guarantee continuous or absolute blocking.

FAQ

Privacy, safety, and price

Are controlled app identities uploaded?

No. Family Controls selection tokens stay on the child's device and are not used to upload app identities.

Does it access location, camera, or health data?

No. The current product does not request camera, location, contacts, microphone, or Health permissions.

Can a child grind unlimited tasks for time?

No. Daily limits and one-time grants prevent endless exchanges; there are no leaderboards, streak anxiety, or stimulating reward loops.

Is it free?

All current and planned features are free, with no ads, paywall, subscription, or in-app purchase.
