Kismet Countdown Privacy Policy

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Kismet Countdown. The app lets users create countdowns, anniversaries, important dates, preparation checklists, and visual themed reminders.

Information stored locally

Event titles, dates, times, notes, checklists, completion status, reminder settings, theme preferences, sort order, and local interface settings are primarily stored on the user's device. A user account is not required for the core countdown experience.

Notifications

With permission, Kismet Countdown uses iOS local notifications for important dates and preparation items. Notification content is created by the user and scheduled by the system on the device. Users can change or disable notifications in the app or iOS Settings.

Optional weather feature

If the user enables real weather effects and grants location permission, the app may use approximate location with Apple WeatherKit to show weather-based visual themes. Location is not used for advertising tracking or continuous movement history.

Purchases

Kismet Countdown may offer premium theme packs or other in-app content. Apple App Store handles purchases, refunds, Family Sharing, and subscription management. We do not collect card numbers, payment passwords, or full billing details.

What the app does not need

The core app currently does not require contacts, camera, microphone, or photo library access. It also does not include public social profiles, user-to-user posting, or third-party advertising tracking features.

Deletion

Users can delete events, checklists, and reminders in the app, or delete the app to remove local device data. Purchase records, download history, and system logs are managed under Apple's policies.

Security

We aim to minimize data processing and rely on iOS local storage, permission controls, and App Store purchase flows. Users should avoid storing unnecessarily sensitive information in countdown titles or notes.

Changes

If future versions add accounts, cloud sync, sharing, analytics, or other connected services, this policy will be updated and relevant permissions will be explained.

可选天气功能

如果用户主动开启真实天气效果并授权位置，应用可能使用粗略位置通过 Apple WeatherKit 获取天气信息，用于背景氛围和主题视觉效果。位置不会用于广告跟踪，也不会用于持续记录用户行动轨迹。

购买与支付

Kismet Countdown 可能提供高级主题包或其他内购内容。购买、退款、家庭共享和订阅管理由 Apple App Store 处理。我们不会收集银行卡号、支付密码或完整账单信息。

不会处理的内容

Kismet Countdown 当前不需要通讯录、相机、麦克风或照片库权限来完成核心功能。应用也不包含面向用户的社交发布、公开资料页或第三方广告追踪功能。

数据删除

用户可以在 App 内删除事件、清单和提醒；也可以通过删除 App 清除设备上的本地数据。由 Apple 处理的购买记录、下载记录和系统日志需按照 Apple 的政策管理。

安全

我们会尽量减少不必要的数据处理，并依赖 iOS 系统提供的本地存储、权限控制和购买流程。用户仍应避免在倒计时标题或备注中保存过度敏感的信息。

政策更新

如果后续版本加入账号、云同步、分享、分析或其他联网服务，我们会更新本政策，并在必要时通过 App 页面或系统权限提示说明变化。
