Privacy Policy
This policy explains how SoundDiary handles microphone-based environmental sound measurements, structured noise records, optional audio clips, HealthKit comparison, exports, and support requests. SoundDiary is local-first: the current version does not require an account, does not use advertising or analytics SDKs, and does not send measurement content to a SoundDiary server.
1. Product purpose
SoundDiary is an iPhone and iPad utility for understanding everyday environmental sound. It can show a dB(A) estimate, a context scale, a reference exposure time, short spot checks, 1–10 minute records, overnight sound cards, event labels, a local diary, and PDF/CSV exports. It is not a certified measuring instrument, medical device, surveillance tool, or legal/forensic evidence service.
2. Microphone and audio processing
Microphone access is requested only to measure sound or to run an explicitly started recording or overnight session. The app processes the input on the device into level statistics and, when available, on-device sound labels. Raw audio is not saved by the default measurement, spot-check, recording, or overnight path. iOS may show its microphone indicator and background-audio status indicator while an active measurement is running.
3. Optional ten-second clip
A user may explicitly choose to save a ten-second peak clip from the recording flow. The app presents a second confirmation describing that the clip is stored locally for the user's own review. It is not uploaded by SoundDiary. Deleting the related session deletes the app-local clip when present; copies exported or shared outside the app are controlled by the receiving app or recipient.
4. Information stored locally
Depending on the features used, the app stores dates, durations, scene labels, dB(A) estimates, LAeq, peaks, calibration method and uncertainty, structured event labels and confidence, notes, weekly reports, settings, interruption markers, and optional local audio clip files. The app uses an atomic local JSON store and UserDefaults for app settings. These records are used to restore the diary, show charts and cards, create summaries, and generate exports.
5. HealthKit
Health comparison is optional. If the user chooses it, SoundDiary requests read access to Apple's environmental audio exposure quantity so that Apple Watch/system samples can be shown separately from local microphone estimates. Writing is a separate control that is off by default: only after the user turns writing on, selects one completed session and confirms again does SoundDiary save that session's LAeq as environmental audio exposure and read the saved sample back. Raw audio is never written, and later sessions are never written automatically. HealthKit availability, authorization, samples, and deletion are controlled by Apple and the user.
6. No network collection in the current version
The current V1 does not require a SoundDiary account, cloud sync, remote AI service, advertising, cross-app tracking, third-party analytics, or a remote audio-processing service. Measurement, diary browsing, template summaries, and PDF/CSV generation are designed to work offline. Opening an external legal or support page may require a network connection in the browser.
7. Exports and sharing
PDF and CSV files are generated locally and are handed to Apple's system share sheet only after the user chooses to export or share. A shared copy may contain times, locations or scene notes that the user entered, as well as measurement and calibration information. Review the file and destination before sharing. SoundDiary cannot remotely delete a copy saved by another app, cloud service, or recipient.
8. Permissions and denial
If microphone access is denied or unavailable, the app explains the consequence and offers a Settings route where appropriate; diary browsing and other non-sampling surfaces remain available. If HealthKit access is denied or unsupported, local measurement, diary, summaries, and export remain available. Permission choices can be changed in iOS Settings.
9. Accuracy and sensitive context
Phone microphones vary by device and may use automatic gain control or limit high sound levels. Calibration and uncertainty are shown so users can interpret results conservatively. Do not use SoundDiary as a sole basis for a medical, legal, safety-critical, employment, tenancy, or emergency decision. Avoid recording or sharing another person's private environment without appropriate permission.
10. Retention and deletion
Local records remain until the user deletes them, clears data through the app's controls, removes the app, or device/storage operations remove them. Deleting a session removes its app-local structured record and associated optional clip. Apple device backups may include app-local data according to the user's settings; Qiquverse cannot directly delete an Apple-operated backup or a copy already shared outside the app.
11. Children and purchases
SoundDiary is not designed specifically for children and is not a Kids Category product. The current version has no account, purchase, subscription, advertising, or paywall flow.
12. Support and policy changes
If you contact support, Qiquverse receives the contact details, message, attachments, and diagnostics you voluntarily send and uses them to respond. Please do not send private recordings, addresses, or other people's personal information unless necessary and authorized. We may update this policy when product behavior, Apple services, or legal requirements change. Contact [email protected].

本政策说明声日记如何处理基于麦克风的环境声音测量、结构化噪音记录、可选音频片段、HealthKit 对照、导出文件和支持请求。声日记采用本地优先设计：当前版本不要求账号、不使用广告或分析 SDK，也不会把测量内容发送到声日记服务器。
一、产品用途
声日记是一款 iPhone 和 iPad 环境声音工具，可以显示 dB(A) 估算、场景对照尺、参考停留时间、十五秒快测、1–10 分钟记录、整夜声音卡、事件标签、本地日记和 PDF/CSV 导出。它不是经过认证的测量器具、医疗设备、监听工具，也不是法律或法医证据服务。
二、麦克风与音频处理
只有在测量、或用户明确开始记录/整夜模式时，应用才请求麦克风。应用在设备本地把输入处理为声级统计，并在可用时使用端侧声音标签。默认测量、快测、记录和整夜流程都不会保存原始录音。活动测量期间，iOS 可能显示麦克风指示和后台音频状态指示。
三、可选十秒片段
用户可以在记录流程中明确选择保存十秒峰值片段。应用会二次确认，并说明片段仅为用户自己核对而本地保存。声日记不会上传该片段。删除关联会话时，应用会在存在本地片段的情况下删除它；导出或分享至 App 外部的副本由接收 App 或收件人控制。
四、本地保存的信息
根据使用的功能，应用会保存日期、时长、场景、dB(A) 估算、LAeq、峰值、校准方式与不确定度、结构化事件标签与置信度、备注、周报、设置、中断标记和可选本地音频片段。应用使用本地原子 JSON 存储和 UserDefaults 保存设置，用于恢复日记、显示图表与声音卡、生成摘要和导出文件。
五、HealthKit
健康对照是可选功能。用户选择后，声日记会请求读取 Apple Watch/系统的环境音暴露数量，以便把系统样本与本机麦克风估算分开显示。写入是另一项默认关闭的独立选择：只有你单独开启写入、选中一段已完成记录并再次确认后，应用才会把该会话的 LAeq 作为环境音暴露写入，并在之后回读显示；不写入原始音频，也不会自动写入之后的记录。HealthKit 的可用性、授权、样本和删除由 Apple 与用户控制。
六、当前版本不收集网络数据
当前 V1 不需要声日记账号、云同步、远程 AI 服务、广告、跨 App 追踪、第三方分析或远程音频处理服务。测量、日记、模板摘要和 PDF/CSV 生成以离线可用为目标。用浏览器打开外部法律或支持页面时可能需要网络。
七、导出与分享
PDF 和 CSV 在本地生成，只有用户主动选择导出或分享后，才交给 Apple 系统分享面板。文件可能包含用户填写的时间、场景、备注、测量和校准信息。分享前请检查文件与目标。其他 App、云服务或收件人保存的副本无法由声日记远程删除。
八、权限与拒绝
麦克风被拒绝或不可用时，应用会说明影响，并在适当位置提供设置入口；日记浏览及其他不需要采样的页面仍可使用。HealthKit 被拒绝或设备不支持时，本地测量、日记、摘要和导出仍可使用。权限可在 iOS 设置中更改。
九、准确性与敏感场景
不同机型麦克风灵敏度不同，自动增益或限幅也可能影响高音量读数。应用显示校准和不确定度，帮助用户保守理解结果。不要把声日记作为医疗、法律、关键安全、就业、租赁或紧急决定的唯一依据。未经适当许可，不要记录或分享他人的私密环境。
十、保留与删除
本地记录会保留到用户删除、通过应用控制清除、移除 App，或设备/存储操作将其清除。删除会话会删除应用本地的结构化记录和关联可选片段。Apple 设备备份可能依据用户设置包含本地数据；Qiquverse 无法直接删除 Apple 运营的备份或已分享至 App 外部的副本。
十一、儿童与购买
声日记不是专门为儿童设计的产品，也不属于 Kids Category。当前版本没有账号、购买、订阅、广告或付费墙流程。
十二、支持与政策更新
